Hello, I’m Alice DeGeorge. I am the owner and head graphic designer of Presque Isle Printing Services. After several years of working in the print industry, I noticed that some key customers’ needs were not being met. Namely, small or start-up companies, and customers that had small printing jobs that needed done quickly and economically.
Small Customers were left to fend for themselves and at the mercy of the big box printing emporiums. Many times, smaller customers didn’t get the assistance that they needed, and consequently were disappointed with the results. I started Presque Isle Printing Services to meet the needs of the small business and individual customers with the goal of providing the best design and printing services no matter what the size of the job.
Although born and raised in Erie, Melissa Shimek has considered Cleveland, Chicago, and NYC as surrogate cities. She is a second-generation graphic artist with over three decades worth of published freelance material spanning magazine illustrations, serial comics, band posters, album covers, t-shirt designs, and ad work. Melissa earned a Liberal Arts degree from Penn State, having also studied both Fine Arts Painting and Business Advertising on a university level. She enjoys collecting visual references like a crow collects shiny objects. When not working on her most recent projects, she can be found lingering in museums, libraries, music venues, record stores, gardens, or craft stores with her two engaging daughters. Melissa is a visual thinker who can help you translate ideas into graphics for all your various needs.

Sara Anderson, a born and bred military brat and world traveler, calls Erie home now. A graphic design major with a focus primarily in print production, she combines creative knowledge and hands on experience to create the best creative solution for Alice and her clients. When not spending quality time with Bonnie, Thelma & Louise (the digital copiers), she enjoys kicking butt with the Eerie Roller girls, exploring with her munchkins and all the coffee.
Marlee Malpiedi, an Erie native, calls Clarion University her Alma mater. Armed with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design, Marlee rocks out designs on the daily. From geometric prints to bold color, she has an eye for design! You might also recognize her, or her nail art, from Instagram or from the Ellen Degenere’s website.
